Bean Electorate

Bean is the southern of the three Federal electorates in the ACT. It includes rural southern ACT and Norfolk Island.

Note that the AEC has announced a redistribution to come into effect at the next federal election. Joining Bean are the Woden Valley suburbs Curtin, Lyons, Hughes and Garran. Leaving Bean are the Molonglo Valley suburbs Wright, Coombs, Denman Prospect and Whitlam, as well as the remainder of Jerrabombera (ACT), i.e. Symonston and Hume. These suburbs join the Canberra electorate where Voices of Canberra is a similar organisation.
