Political Processes and the Potential for Independents

Alec Beckett is a civics educator and will give an overview of the Australian Constitution including the parliament, the basics of federal elections, representation, the formation of government, passage of a bill including scrutiny/committees and how to be an active and informed voter.

Voices of Bean members will then explain how we see a path to victory for a Community Independent in Bean at the next federal election. It will be an informal evening with plenty of chance for questions and discussion.
