Politics 101: Parliamentary Processes, how our Independent can be effective in Parliament

Alec Beckett is a civics educator and will give an overview of the Australian Constitution including the parliament, the basics of federal elections, representation, the formation of government, passage of a bill including scrutiny/committees and how to be an active and informed voter.
Voices of Bean members will be able to update folks in where our search for a candidate is at, and opportunities to get involved. It will be an informal evening with plenty of chance for questions and discussion.
